RM370 for dental treatment

Today is the day where I brought my children for dental checkup and also for myself. Me and Sean has got our teeth clean, however I was told that Sean needs to have braces maybe at aged of 13 yrs old or 14 yrs old. Because his teeth is not in good arrangement and all has turned permanent teeth, I will need to find Orthontist for him for braces and also to find out which teeth is suitable for extract.

Niece has got for braces and her cost was RM4k, I was told by time Sean go for braces it could be RM6k or RM7k. It's time to get start saving for him now, we never know what's the exact price. Yeah the cost of living in Selangor/Kuala Lumpur is way much more than other states, don't you agree? Not yet add on the fees of tuition for children.

Sean's little bro has got 2 teeth upper gums filling, each RM60. Total cost for dental treatment for 3 of us RM370. This happened at USJ Taipan, was lucky today I managed to find a parking spot. While we saw another car which not in the parking spot, outside the yellow line got clamped.

My bottom two big teeth, deep inside if there is pain I was told that I need to back to see her and get both teeth removed. One of it is wisdom teeth.

RM120 per way per head transportation fee

Lifestyle in Subang Jaya, never gets better, so is the price of transportation fees. I opt to fetch my kids myself because I found out the transportation fee per pax/per way is RM120 a month, don't forget they will you to pay Dec fee as well.

It's all about money, so if both my kids take transportation I would need to pay RM240 x 2 child = RM480. It's a lot of money, I could use the money for groceries shopping for fuel up my car.

A mom told me today that she has four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. She gives up her job because of standard living here is high. Money is not easy to earn, so always think twice before spending. Where to spend and how to spend the money?

Have you count on how much money you are investing on your child a month? My dear told me, his friend invested RM1k a month per child. 

Ramadhan Office Hour on Aeon Big Subang Jaya

For your information the free 3 hours parking for Aeon Big Subang Jaya has changed, now they offer free 1 hour parking for non member of Aeon Big, Subang Jaya. Free 2 hours parking for member of Aeon Big, Subang Jaya. So you need to use the member card to swipe at the machine, haven't try yet the card.

About the Post office in Aeon Big Subang Jaya, here's info on their office hour during this Ramadhan.

Closed on Public Holidays.

We went to SS15 Post Office and SS13 Post office they are not open in the afternoon. So I know it's best to go the Aeon Big, Subang Jaya.

Checking kindergarten for my toddler

Being mommy of two boys, one of my boys in primary school but not my toddler. He's going to be three year old this June. He's so active at home that he's going through inside out the drawers and climbing side of stair case, etc. You name it, he will be doing something tricky behind your back.

Kindergaten fee will not be cheap, monthly RM380 haven't added up any extra fee. My toddler still wearing diapers, it is water rationing here it is tough to train him without diapers. He would wet many pants, he didn't want to tell that he's going to pee or poo. 

Life of stay at home mom

My dear is working alone, his boss didn't know that he's under pay.

Being stay at home mom of two, I send my son to school and I have send him for tuition as well since it's getting harder and harder to teach myself.

I told him that I go look for a job, he says no as he knows that my pay will not be a big amount. It would not be enough too, think of transportation fee etc. Next year my toddler will go to kindergarten. Kindergarten fee is not cheap, RM380 a month not sure if they will raise the price. This is price for 8.30am to 11.30am.

My friend living in Kepong told me that over 20 kindergartens at her place. The fee is RM200 plus only and if let child stay over until 3pm only RM300.

Not over here, it's all about money if you let child stay over until 3pm at kindergarten it cost RM800.

KL Sentral last train 12midnight?

My dear took KTM to KL Sentral for going dinner at Aloft Hotel. It is his first time to go with his colleague. He says the hotel is very nice, I haven't go there before. His colleague told him that the last train is 12 midnight. The dinner night they finished at 11.15pm and started waiting for train but waited an hour the train never came.

Dear and his colleague took taxi back from KL Sentral to Subang Parade where he parked the car. First taxi near at KL Sentral ask him for RM40 because it's past midnight. They walked further to bus stop, just nice taxi stop by and told them he charging by meter. The fee of coming back to Subang Jaya RM20 only.

I don't know if the last train is 12 midnight but I check the ktm website stated 10.30pm. Mmm...

Anyway it was Monday evening he bought the KTM go and back pass at KTM Subang Jaya RM3.20. 

Watching The Conjuring alone

Today is my lucky day, yeah I get to watch The Conjuring again. I didn't know that many people are interested to watch this movie. I bought a ticket from MBO cinema RM14 sadly unable to use my MBO card because their system down! The hall 2 almost full with people, yeah free seating today because their system down.

There is Magic Show at Subang Parade, not really interest me as I am hungry and head to Rotiboy!

Knowing my boy loves Rotiboy, now they having purchase 5 Rotiboy signature buns RM11.

 

Taking taxi back from Cheras Leisure Mall

My dear sms me at 5pm, I was waiting for him to come fetch me home as he's in KL near klcc. But he told me that he couldn't make it.

I need to go for the last day to find out whose the luck ten winners of Bio-essence 14 days slimming challenge. They only reveal who the winners during the event of 1.30pm-4pm!

Anyway, getting back home by taxi cost me RM30. Yeah burn a hole in pocket, the uncle driver is very nice. We chat a bit in the car. :D

Some taxi driver doesn't drive to far places, his most far place he went was Ipoh!

 

Evening night out with Son@CNY open house last night

It is quite last minute that I get to know of this event to attend. I am invited as media blogger to attend this Chinese New Year Open House at Mydin Mall USJ, Subang Jaya. I am happy to see many people coming this CNY open house, it is open to public and they have lucky draw. I didn't win any lucky draw neither my son. But we have fun, it is an beautiful evening night out with him on Friday night.

He likes the ice cream at the open house, yes they have free ice cream, cendol, char kuey tiao, can drinks, ice lemon tea, etc. I met my dad's friend in the night, he came along with his daughter. The clowns are in town, they are tall I mean very tall! My son has got two swords in hand, one is green which burst earlier then second was a pink sword. :D

The event ends in middle of night, I didn't stay long to watch. My son is tired, we head home around 10.14pm and stucked in the jam for a while. I will upload the pictures soon, give me some time. I haven't transfer the file of photos yet.

 

Construction@USJ 9, Taipan

There is construction going on at USJ 9, Taipan look at the buildings and you can see that there's something not right. Do you know what's wrong with the picture? Just look usually if there's constrution the building will be cover up, but you can see there's nothing cover up at all. It is so dusty and dangerous for people walking by.

Near the shops they are a few tution conters and I can tell you it is rush hour during that period. I don't know what they are making out of this buidling, could you tell? Can it be a hotel?

I don't want to eat near this buidling at all, imagine the dusts in the air. Some restaurants still having business even though there's noise and dusts at the area. It would be better to eat inside the restaurant with glass doors closed.

Anyone have been near this buidling, any idea what they are doing?

Cute zoo bag & lost in the car park@Sunway Pyramid

Yesterday morning we head to Sunway Pyramid and looking to go Sunway Lagoon, early in the morning before 8am we lost in the carpark while heading to Sunway Lagoon. We didn't know we need to go through the buildings of to go Sunway Lagoon, there's no sign at all. Well there is a sign far away at the building! Lucky we found the security guard on motorcycle to lead us the way, we are not alone lost in the carpark other peoples too!

Well my son is all ready for the Guardian Walkathon 2012 as you can see in the picture. He has the cute zoo bag which I purchased on Friday from SDMC or previous name SJMC (subang jaya medical centre). They are having the Persatuan Daybreak sales to help the disabled from Perak. I choose to purchase the yellow cute bag it is cute and lovely! Loving this two in one bag, as you can see the handle in the middle, easy to carry or use as sling backpack.

RM15 for this bag as you can see the below picture.

They are other items on sale to tissue box, hand carried bag, basket, children clothes, quilt, coin purse, etc. It is located at the lobby heading to the clinic lift at SDMC.

Oh yeah.. my son is looking left and right where to go as we are lost in the carpark, spooky!

Restaurant Park Way @SS19 Subang Jaya

Have you been to this restaurant? It is Restaurant Park Way at SS19 Subang Jaya, you can never miss it. The restaurant can easily seen because it is facing the main roads, oh well I didn't know if my friends have been to this restaurant. My dear told me of this restaurant and we have been there several times.

I often eat the dry noodles with wantan, I see the stalls there are good in business especially the one selling nasi lemak. I tried the char kue tiaw but not very nice, I find it oily. If char kue tiaw I prefer to eat at Restaurant Foh Foh at SS15 Subang Jaya.

There is fruit rojak selling at this restaurant, they also selling Chinese kuih. Have you been to this restaurant?

Tongkat chair for old folk

We have purchased this tongkat that can be change to chair. This tongkat we find at the pharmacy at SS15 Subang Jaya. I saw another type at Caring pharmacy but not suitable because it is three legs. You can see this tongkat having four legs. It can be bend and use a chair if old folk walk at shopping mall and get tired. Now I see not many shopping mall provide public seating area.

Some shopping mall having public seating area but most of time will be used up unless you go shopping mall during weekday.

This tongkat chair is less than RM70.

GOGO@First Subang Mall

The First Subang Mall located at SS15 Subang Jaya is now open and I have visited the mall. I bought some clothes from the GO GO Shop at first floor, now they are having 10% discount on selected blouse or top. I find the clothes size available from free size to size L. I am able to fit in some blouse size L.

I bought one blouse, one top and a jean legging yesterday. First Subang Mall, you can find Guardian, Giant, Maxis, MBG, The Library, Chatime, Over time and many more. If you are going to shop at Giant beware that the trolley you need to put coin in order to use it.
