Ruang Shah Alam, warm and hot

Kids having last day of exam today so I decided to attend a party today at Ruang Shah Alam. This venue is warm and hot, though we can see many air con mounted to wall but we didn't feel cold at all. Compare to Ruang Subang Jaya, I would prefer to go Subang Jaya, the place is near LRT station and most important I didn't feel warm and hot.

I got to use the card almost throughout the party to fan myself. It's my first time to Ruang Shah Alam, it's located at industrial area.

The venue at Ruang Shah Alam could fit up to 100 chairs. Have you been to Ruang Shah Alam?

GLAM Junior X Uniqlo event

Happy day as I received an invite on GLAM Junior X Uniqlo event for tomorrow. But sad is because they only let me know today and tomorrow is the day which I have planed already for tomorrow.

I know my sons will be happy to attend this activity because they have activity for kids with lego, aso traveling/packing tips for winter and cash voucher from uniqlo.

Very sad as I cannot bring my kids to go as we have got family plan tomorrow. Well, got to let it go and let other lucky participants to go.

The event is morning 9am to 11am.

Lorem Ipsum Art Jam

Last week I went for an event at Lorem Ipsum Art Jam, it is located at shop lot. Just one roll of shop lot there, so you cannot miss it and there do not have signboard of the shop name. It is above the dentist, nearby the shoplot has a bakery shop. Nothing much there, very boring area. Unless you wanna have a drink and dine there, why not go hang out there. I like the art, so many to see there.

Imagine I was there at 4.30pm and event only starts 6pm but then delay to start. It's so boring no place to hangout there, so remember if you going there for event don't go so early but unless you are driving there so you need to be early to find parking spot. 

Most people park at roadside not sure if will get summon tickets or not. 


By the way haze is back so take care and drink more water. Bring mask to use if you can, I have itchy skin and eyes too due to haze.

Are you makeup artist?

It's Monday and have a fun event to go in the afternoon. I was lost and went to another condo which at the other side of the Empire Shopping Gallery. Glad that I am not alone that is late to the event as the cars need to queue at the guard house to get in. We have allocated parking to park and cannot simply park the cars. B3 103 was my parking lot, next to Lee Yann blogger.

One of the guest at the event saw me and asked if I am makeup artist, I say I am not but in fact she is makeup artist. :D

Yeah it make up my day as someone really like my makeup. Actually I have overdo my eyeliner and need time to draw the same for my left eyelid. It smudge too and I have to quickly fix the makeup on my eyes with eyeshadows. Glad that it's a good day for everyone, how about you?

2016 what's the plan?

It's been a fruitful year as I get to go Hello Kitty In Oz: The Lost Chapter. Last year I went to Krabi Island for 3 days 2 nights which I won from a contest.

I want to go Korea where it snow time, but I am afraid that nobody is going with me. So this haven't plan yet.

More time next year will be spend on my children too as my eldest son has changed tuition centre. It will a tough year for him as he's Standard 4 education can be getting tougher. Even for his little brother though next year is only 5 years old but his kindergarten is quite demanding. He's poor in writing and I am afraid that he is not able to catch up in class.

My sis apartment also having trouble to collect the rental and I did mention about this in my other blog. Seem the tenant is refusing to move out of the place with plenty of reasons. As the location is near to BRT and LRT, the apartment had build up the gates. Now the management have required the owners to pay for the touch card and the sticker for each car. 

Friend, lets talk business

Wow this is new for me that my friend nonstop telling me that there is business to talk. What is the business about? Then she says its related to her business that involve of sanitary pads. Need to go Klang to listen the talk or have fun.

Mmmmm.... no thank you. I don't have any interest on that. Then she ask why I have the time for go movie.

Well, I won movie and I have interest in movie more than that business. So I choose movie over the business. Hehe..

Constants change of venue events

I have received an email invitation to attend a press conference in this month, I decided to decline the invitation as I find it not being honest to bloggers. Last month I receive a personal message from Facebook.

Somehow I find it the person who intended to invite me, sounded rude and not being fair. Anyway, some of my friends too feel it because they have constant change of dates event and now even venue.

Perhaps is their staff or colleague that not being professional in sending invites.

One of the invitation by them, my friend receive it then they didn't reply her if she can attend or not. She even save the date for their event, after she emailed them, then only they reply her that she's not being selected to attend the events. I mean she is not being shortlisted, then how can they send out the invites in the first place with her name and blog url name in the email?

If you are not going to invite, or you have invited enough bloggers, you shouldn't send anymore invitations out.

Their first choice of TBA venue was The Gardens, TGV One Utama, now they have changes venues again. I am sure some my friends receive the same invitation from them.

Fun full day on Wednesday

My first time of driving to KL yesterday using waze, I afraid of being lost in the city. No kidding! After sending son to tuition then I decided to move on with my schedule. It's 40min driving and yes it's quite confusing to know how to go here and there as the waze not saying the exact route, it can be right turn but it says left turn according waze map.

Anyway I make it to the mall around 10.15am. It was early and plenty of parking. I go to Aeon bakery to buy bread then a yogurt drink as my breakfast. After that go for a walk in the mall which has more people around like Aeon outlet.

The morning I received message from my dear, asking me to becareful and be alert always when in the mall. I guess he read my post or saw my status on Facebook or my blog post?

After Quill City Mall head back to Subang, yeah traffic jam and get my son from tuition then send him home before continue my journey to The Curve. I didn't park in the Curve as I need to go restroom in a hurry, I parked eCurve. The night with Christmas party #butterflymsia is fun and get to know more butterflies! My first time to eat roasted turkey, had my second round as Grace share her second round with me. :D

After event over then I walk back to eCurve, speed walking for sure as I am alone. When I reached to pay for parking, payment machine is being fixing by two guys. So I go down escalator to pay and saw to lovely butterflies bloggers. Yup they are making their payment too for the parking.

It's terrible jam while on way back as road closure for MRT construction. I reached home almost 11.50pm. Can't thank you enough is being with friends and gifts spoiled by lovely blogger friends. Thank you, you know who you are! :D

PMS didn't stop me from being active

Yeah yesterday was the first day of my PMS, early morning and yes I know it that it's coming but I didn't know when is the exact date. A night before I went to Empire Shopping Gallery, next morning I supposed to go Excel Life for factory visit at Puncak Alam then evening to eCurve. Knowing that it'll tired me out, I decided to let go of chance to visit the factory, I informed Kak Ros the night before.

Gel nail polish very hard to dry

It's my first time to have pedi-medi and it's didn't last for even an hour. :(

Sad to say that because they don't have provide the fan for the gel nail polish, after they applied, they supposed to have the fan for nails to dry up. So I have my nails smudge so terrible that I need to remove them in car, else it will be all over my steering wheel.

Everything is nice, in the event, anyway it's my first time to try out gel nail polish too. :D
From this experience I know now, why it didn't dry at all.  

Is it the worst event of the year?

I have never attended an event that the PR would be asking bloggers to spend money at the event. No kidding, never in a case like this before. So do you want to know which event which I attended recently that having such experience? For your info items in shop are price RM199 and above, if the bags RM600 plus to RM17K.

You'll be even more shocked to see what's the contained of goodie bag. It's not about the goodie bag I attended the event, but some how I don't feel appreciate attending it and blog about it. The PR comes back to me saying that there's not enough pictures in blog post, etc.

It's strange feeling after all, my blogger friend attended the same event I attended today. Somehow we both won lucky draw prizes but she's not happy of her prizes. She likes my lucky draw prize that I won. It's depend on luck to win lucky draw.

Before the second lucky draw, she's been teasing me not to win anymore big prize. Then after that I won a prize which indeed is big but not the biggest. She's not happy of it. Anyway the moment I win the second prize, I'm excited happy and I laugh, my friend kept looking at me. Oh yeah, she's the one keep teasing that I better not win anymore big doll, so I get big doll house instead of doll.

Anyway both of us won lucky draw prizes for both rounds. She seems not happy of it. Her prizes perhaps smaller than mine but how about other blogger that no win at all?

First time to Aloft Hotel and KL Sentral

I didn't take part in Selfie contest yesterday as my phone was running low on battery. 

Yesterday is my first time going to Aloft Hotel, I tried using the waze the travel by car supposed be 30 min but ended up 40 min because I couldn't locate the Hotel. I have to round at least three times around KL sentral hotels to find it. Lucky I didn't give up because I know parking near mall or any of the hotel would be expensive.

Since the event in Aloft Hotel, the parking fee is RM10 for 10 hours. I parked for at least 6 hours, the fee supposed be RM28. I went to reception counter to have the ticket validate.

The parking at Nu Sentral mall will be RM4 per hour if not mistake. You can always Google to check. One lady I met in the event parked wrong place and told me she's paying RM4 per hour, so the night she will need pay RM12. She check the parking machine for payment stated once in the parking lot, even for 15 min parking she still need to pay RM4.

I didn't manage to window shopping in Nu Sentral mall, once I am in the Aloft Hotel, it started heavy raining.

A happy night for me to meet with celebrities they are Kurtwood Smith and Omar Epps.

I need to rest my back

I had a busy day with three trips, which I stated in post if you read the link. Today also I have gone for a challenge, and I am glad I registered and get pamper and feel difference. Why I say I feel so pampered because I don't need to hands on but I get pampered like I am in the beauty centre to have facial. One staff is attending to two person at one time, some maybe three person for the 50 challengers. I am not sure how's the organization going to do for tomorrow, where they will be 100 challengers

Besides the emee explaining the steps, each time the gal also very kind to explain you about goodness of the skin care product.

It is totally worth it to be pampered like a Queen.

Shhh... It's a secret

There's an outlet opening today in Selangor, so happened the person who is asking for bloggers to go attend it refused to say what outlet is it. I did give my info for the person but since no info given about what exactly about the opening outlet etc. I decided to give up to attend.

I feel it is dangerous to attend an outlet opening which you never mention what is it about? The person only info that it is lifestyle event to cover. Mmmm.... alright then, so serect.. you go ahead to attend and enjoy.

I have other plan for today. No hard feeling just that I don't feel comfortable if I don't know where exactly the outlet and what is it about. I am glad I didn't register for it, it's not my cup of tea. A friend of mine told me it happened to her too, she also doesn't want to go for it.

It's dangerous too, who know if it is a scam.

Artificial snow, my first snow experience

I am happy to be invited such meaningful event on CWS Children gets their wishes comes true on the FAERIE DREAMS launch at Sunway Pyramid.

I haven't experience snow for a long time, many years back when my dear and I dating we experience the artificial snow in the snow house in Sri Kembangan. It was so long ago, I remembered my classmate and her boyfriend gather with us.

When I experience the artificial snow in Sunway Pyramid, in my mind was did one of the children request for experience the snow?! Although it didn't last forever, we happened to enjoy every moment of it. :D

Bangsar Shopping Center

Yesterday my first time to Bangsar Shopping Center, the last time I went there was in year 1999 if not mistaken. The year where MIX FM held for the Pegeot car contest for participant to collect two keys and try open the car.

The shopping mall is not big, it is not user friendly. I don't see any bench to sit on. That mean if you like to take a seat, you can only go to the dining area. I parked three hours and it cost me RM9.

The sign to go restroom is not clear, I can't find the restroom and ended up asking another lady. I had an hour jam to reach this mall, the raining from my place to the mall none stop. 4pm started my journey. I attended the Bio Essence event for bloggers, happy to meet friends there. :D

After the event, coming home I paid two tolls total RM2. A motorcycle was tailing me, it was crazy he would caused the accident on the road. He didn't think of safety of his family and my safety! Crazy biker speeding even though raining!

 

Esse Gives Back 2013

 

 

Esse Gives Back is a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The event encourages children all over the world to participate by creating an artwork about nature. These amazing young artists, ages from 3 to 16 years old, painted their love for nature into these artworks. The artworks are submitted from as far away as USA and South Africa, to Hong Kong, China, Australia, Singapore and also from Malaysia.

All the artworks are painted by children, for children. The proceeds from sales of the artwork will be donated to SHELTER – Home for Children in Malaysia. SHELTER is a registered welfare organization in Malaysia that has been in existence since 1981 to help abused, abandoned, neglected or at-risk children. They provide care and education to them and raise public awareness on issues such child abuse and child protection.
