Should I start a contest blog?

As you can see that I have been actively taking part in contests, its like a part of my hobby now. I am thinking whether I should start a contest blog. Please share with me your view.

Whether I win or not, I just love the fun or taking part in the contest. Not all contest that I am taking part in. Some just confused me and that's why I didn't take part.

I have got a postcard from a relative as they are going to Canada, Alaska. Wow, that's good and I am so jealous! The postcard is a stunning sights and epic fun on an icy voyage.

Locked the gate

Last night my sister left and she didn't lock the gate probably. I am shocked to see that she didn't even lock the door. When I open the door and I wanted to check on the gate. What I see? The gate is not locked at all, this is scary lucky is that I found out about it soon enough. Who knows what will happen if I check on the gate hours later.

I told her about it today and she told me that its my job to check whether she locked the gate or not. What?! That's the craziest thing I ever hear, everybody knows that who ever go last has to check on the locks.

If something bad happened to me or my home. It will be too late to regret then.

Problem with Technorati

Doh! The Technorati Monster escaped again.

I am facing such problem and I don't know why. I have tried a few times and its still show up this.

My sister just came home and where have she been? I think she just got back from work. She has joined exercise and yoga classes. I didn't think she went today. I did joined the same centre where she went for the exercise and yoga.

I don't think I would be going there again. I like it very much when I joined 10 years ago. But I can see that it's not getting any improvement from the tutor. She used recording tape to teach and I am just bored of it. Sometimes if she's busy there will be another person that teach.

The tutor and her family are not local. They are from Taiwan.

My sister has been complaining that she likes to take days off and by doing that the centre has to be closed. That doesn't sound good at all. Anyway I am just glad that I am not going there any more. As for my sister, she was the first to join before I even join. I think she'll get use to it.

About going to those gym centre it would probably cost more. I don't know but compare the price you have the pay, I would say yeah.

Sis coming over

My sister has sms me and saying that she will be coming to overnight from tomorrow for 2 nights. Yeah its due to her work she can't finish at office because the system is slow. She will need to use my computer and internet to access and continute with her work at night.

I know she's working hard and her employer rely on her. I do hope that they are not giving her too much work. She told me that her company has hire new staff but they can't do the job like been told and she has to do it herself.

Whatever it is I am sure they are paid for their job and they shouldn't take things for granted. Yes everyone has mistake and you'll learn from mistake and avoid such mistake again in future. Patience has a lot to do with work whether you like it or not.

My Shopping Logo

What do you think of this? This is my Shopping logo for my shopping blog. I think so far its nice looking and it looked like a button that you can press on it. I am not very good in design the logo but this looked okay.

Umm.... this also looked like a gum that I want to chew on. I have not bought any gum for a long time. Maybe someday I will go looking for one and chew them.

About duplicate content!

I have always wanted to know more about duplicate content. If you like to read about it. You could check out The WWW Observer .

Tell me how do you deal with duplicate content ? I have been wanting to ask this as well. Since many blogger are having contest on their blog. Does it mean that blogger that participate in the contest are duplicating the content of the contest? I don't know that's why I am ask you about this.

I think blogging is a learning stage for everyone.

Warning dad about such spam

I am getting again such spam email saying that I won lottery. I am warning my dad about it as well. I hope he doesn't fall for it. He's very new in Internet and since his motherboard has change he saying that can't access to other page. I am helping him out by sending the link of websites that he wants to go.

It's Monday, tell me what you did on weekends. Yesterday I went to shopping mall and you kno what? I have to go round in circle for a few times because they closed the carpark. I thought they have open up as passing by saw a man walking down. Who knows when going to there again it's still closed. On the last round I didn't go the same entrance again. I went to the other entrance and I manage to get in but half to look for parking half hour.

Going in is easy but getting out is the hard part. Traffic is a nightmare as everyone is wanting to go home the same time. I saw cars coming in still and I think they are watching late night movie.

Credit card

Do you have enough money to spend? I think it would depend on how you spend the money. I think not many people carry cash on hand to go shopping. Most of them would have apply credit card as it's more convenient and your wallet won't look so bulky too. This remided me that I do know someone with a bulky wallet. Guessed what inside the wallet? It's all cards!

I feel that having a credit card is a big responsibility you have got to know how to control the usage of it. It's really fun having one but it could also caused you in trouble. One of my friends telling me that some students that are studying in college are having credit cards on hand. My sister has a credit card and she's always paying her bill on time. There was a time she late payment and she was charge with late payment. Rich vs Poor

This was on my calendar and I didn't even notice it until my sister tear it out. Well, its supposed to be April one I think.

Do you think its true that when you are rich you are popular and a lot people would come to you. I remembered once an old classmate called me to borrow $1000 from me. I was like huh.. for a start she didn't even ask me whether I have the money or not. It's scary to know that such a long time you didn't get a call from her and suddenly she's called up because of money. I didn't borrow her the money as I do not have the money. Worst is that she's borrowing money from friends on behalf of her boyfriend. Her boyfriend's business wasn't doing well and she's helping him out. But I don't hear any say from her boyfriend.

How to add code to other blog

I am having problem to add widget code on my shopping blog. Well, anyone know how to do it? Please share with me.

By the way,I am also getting a lot so spam email. For example the Ebay one, which I didn't registered my email with it. I think its a fault email I am getting saying its from dispute item etc. Other than that, I am getting a lot of email saying I won this and that. Hmm... this people have got nothing better to do and sending spam.

Never heard of the brand

My dad's computer has been repair and I saw the brand of the motherboard that been change. The guy told my dad it's original brand but as I can see its not a brand that I have seen before. Other than that, there's something wrong with the internet.

Can access to internet and check email but going to windows explorer something wrong. Oh yeah my dad said the guy also change the CD player for him. It was stucked and cannot come out from the CPU. The guy change a Samsung brand player. Not sure if its a DVD player or not.

Motherboard CPU

A few posts back I told you about dad's computer something wrong. We know what's wrong. His CPU motherboard spoiled and fixed $350. Any idea why is it motherboard spoiled?

The Acer computer only bought in 2004. Just a few years back and it's so fast spoiled. According to my dad it's his friend that fixed his computer.

Oh yeah my dad came over and bought us Durian. Yummy, I love this fruit and I never get bored eating it. I like either bitter or sweet but I love best its bitter taste. Have you try it before? Is it available at your place? How much it cost?

Many people that are not from here, started loving to eat this fruit. Although some people doesn't like the smell of it but they say the taste is okay. Durian is King of Fruit.

Today I think they are many people that know about blogging and do you there's cyber danger? Well, not many people think there's. I am sure you know about the network MySpace where a teen has committed suicide . There's danger where nobody know about.

Beside identity theft, there's more behind. Just have to beware of everything you are going to blog about as well. Sometimes telling too much of yourself making other to target you. Internet is a place where we could connect with the whole world. So you don't really know if the person you are chatting or befriend with is real or fake.

Children that know about blogging and internet, parents should beware of them. Don't think that they are at safe at home but how about in their bedroom? It's best to take note of what they are doing and chat with them. Find out about who they have befriend with and what they are doing online.

Not long ago, there was a case where a woman's photo has been taken without her consent. This woman's photos was take from her network account that she has not been using for a few years. Maybe you have heard of this before, its Friendster.

I am sure they are many things that we didn't know about. So best to take caution on whatever you are doing. Maybe you don't agree with me. That's okay just let me know about your view.

What do you like about shopping? I like shopping and what I am looking for is attached with free stuff. Neh... that's not it. I do check out the quality of the item before buying them.

Sometimes you are lucky to buy things you like with Free stuff attached. Things that we normally used like tooth paste, shampoo, body shampoo, soap, etc.

Now the marketing coming with strategies like Spend & Win. You have to be the top spender to get the chance to win. But its hard to say that you are going to be the Winner. As you have no idea how much you have got to spend and win. I think this will only waste your money. Unless its dry food you can keep them but how much will you eat?

Changing templete

Wow, I didn't know that changing template can be a tough job. I have to back up the widget all before making any changes. This will take time and I mean a lot time too. It's not going to be a day job that you can just change like that. For me, I would take a very long time to do so. I know sometimes its easy to do so but to me, it's always get complicated.

By the way, my Entrecard Credit has accumulate 2,000 and I just don't know what to do about it. Yeah I could start a contest but it's not as easy as I thought it would be.

While blogging I just check on the news online and found one to share with you. First I like to know if you are a fast sleeper and did you know who lying beside you while you are asleep? Here's a news of a housewife found a naked robber slept next to her. This is really nuts, if I am this lady I would have take something and beat up the robber. Need advice

I have been thinking of changing my current templete. I wanted to know if I change to new templete will my blog lost something? I mean like the side bar that I have the widgets on. I am thinking of changing my blog to 3 column templete. It's easy to say but also thinking about how to do that.

Still not very clear about it and will find out more when I got the time. My sister just call me saying that she will be coming to stay with me for a few days because she has a lot work to do. I bet she does because her company's internet connection is real slow and making her work unfinished.

My dad called me too telling me that his computer CPU taken by his friend to check. Hopefully he could take it back on Wednesday. My dad also saying at his place there are new restaurants opening like KFC and DOMINO pizza hut.

Internet connection

Just a moment ago, my dad called me up asking me about his internet connection. He said that last night he had gone to youtube then suddenly the computer screen black out. What's wrong? I don't know as I am not at his place. My sister was there and she doesn't know anything about computer and internet. She just know about using internet to do her work.

My sister wasn't happy at all and she is now on the way back. She didn't get to do her work at all.

My dad has called the technician nearby to check on his computer but the guy wasn't around at the moment. Hopefully he's able to get his computer working again. My guess is the monitor screen! Hmm... how to say... monitor screen no more heart beat? lol

Pole-dancing

Have you heard or seen a pole dancing before? I have seen them on TV but not in real life. But I found one site with such dancing class. Viva Vertical is the site you can check out. I think I would like to try out belly dancing instead of this. lol

Learning new language

Frankly speaking lately I have got several comment with Pinoy language. Hehehe... honestly speaking I don't understand the language at all. I am always open up to learn new language. Its nice and good to know extra language on hand. Who knows it might be useful someday.

Since I started using the entrecard, I have got to know most blogger from Philipino. Over here if I wanted to learn new language like Japanese or Korean or French it would be costly. They have like beginner, intermediate, advance, etc. Each level would be costing around $300. Don't think that the level is just beginner, they have actually break up the level to beginner 1, beginner 2 and beginner 3 depending on their course.

By the way do you know how many visitors or readers reading your blog? I think I have a few only. I have seen some blogger with 40 plus or 100 plus some with 1000 plus. Wow... that's pretty cool and these blogs must be so interesting to read about.

Favourite Mommy Bloggers Contest

Fun of having entrecard

If there's no entrecard, I wouldn't know about so many contest happening. Just checking Jackie's blog and saw that I am in fact the Winner for 1st Day Prize in May.

So many blogger having their page rank at the moment. I know mine is still zero that's okay I am having fun with blogging and quite sporting in participating in contests. lol

My sister was back a while ago then she went back to my dad's place. She still have to catch up on her work. Opps! almost forgot have to help my dad check on his account on internet usage. My dad knows about email usage now and has no intention to know about online banking.

I prefer online banking at first I was scare to use it too but now its okay and in fact it really safe my time and money too. I don't have to go looking for parking and queue to wait for my turn. I am having headache so I have to stop now.
